The district's largest school, Gateway College Preparatory, scored a high A, earning five of seven campus distinctions. Kingsland School received a C, and Gateway Tech, a high school credit recovery school, received an A. Nolan Creek School in Belton earned a B for the first time in the school's 10-year history.

"Our scores are a reflection of two years of intentional hard work, centered on data-driven instruction, personalized learning plans and a relentless focus on student growth and college readiness," said Carla Silber, superintendent of Orenda Charter School District. "I am so honored to work and lead such an amazing district of educators."

Texas provides annual academic accountability ratings to its public school districts. The ratings are based on performance on state standardized tests, graduation rates, and college, career and military readiness outcomes. They examine student achievement, school progress and the closing of achievement gaps among student groups. The most recent individual district and campus data is available at TXschools.gov.
